Tara Powder

Natural derivative with tanning power produced by a milling process from the fruit (pod) of trafficking in Peru. Caesalpinea spinosa (Molina) Kuntze, which contains tannin from the pyrogalic group and a small amount of catechin derivatives.

Fine tare powder is used in the textile and tannery industries, while coarse powder is used as a raw material in the chemical industry to obtain tannic acid and gallic acid, both of multiple applications and in turn they are basic compounds for the production of a series of chemical derivatives used especially in pharmacology, chemistry and cosmetology.
